Most of the residents at our shelter stay with us for an undetermined amount of time, we are proud to be able to provide a better facility for those who accompany our residents and often times are also survivors, their children. Recently the WBCWS was awarded a generous Play Ground grant by the Larson Foundation and Game Time. The grant was written by Paul Fokken of SDSU in collaboration with our staff.

Volunteers from the Tree of Life, students from SGU and SDSU made the delivery and installation possible. Today, 2 new playground sets stand tall at our shelter entertaining  young ones ages 2 to 5 and 6 to 12… Thanks to all volunteers for their time and hard work!
