          Over 60 people participated on the 23rd annual “National Day of Unity Awareness Walk” this passed October 6th in Rosebud, SD.

     The walk started at the IHS  hospital in Rosebud and ended at the Tribal Building with  a few words from vice president Willie Kindle and a gift presented by Nichole Witt, WBCWS’s Grant Manager...
Text Box: On October 29th, 2008 the White Buffalo Calf Woman Society hosted their 6th annual Brest Cancer Awareness dinner in Rosebud, SD. Every year, over 45.000 American women lose lives to breast cancer. About one in almost every eight women will develop the disease in our life time...

     On October 24 - 25, 2008, along with National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Sicangu Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence, a projects of the White Buffalo Calf Woman Society, Inc. held their annual Survivors and Advocates healing conference in Mission SD.
